The Large Modern is a black address plate designed for clear visibility—even from a distance. Featuring 6" numbers in white or brushed aluminum, it ensures quick readability with a modern style that complements any façade.

Larger than the regular version, it can easily cover a previous address. Assembled in Canada, it’s built for durability and easy installation, delivering a clean, reliable result.

Product details

• Built-In Threaded Studs
Three 1.75” threaded studs are mounted on the back of the plaque, allowing for a secure installation with no visible screws. This system ensures a straight, stable installation on most surfaces. The actual anchor depth is 1.75”. The plaque remains slightly raised from the wall thanks to the rear mounting hardware.

• Plaque and Number Thickness
The plaque and numbers are made from 1/4” thick ACP (6 mm). The numbers are applied directly to the plaque using a permanent industrial adhesive for a clean, uniform finish.

• Fully Assembled
Unlike plaques sold in hardware stores, the Modern LF arrives fully assembled: numbers positioned, applied, and aligned by our team. Since this is a custom-made product, it is a final sale.

Durable and weather-resistant material

• Architectural-Grade ACP
The plaque and numbers are made from architectural-grade ACP, an aluminum composite panel made of two durable aluminum sheets bonded to a polyethylene core. This multi-layer material is rigid, stable, and perfectly suited for outdoor environments. It will not rust and maintains its integrity over time.

• Weather Resistant
ACP keeps its shape despite constant exposure to the elements. It naturally resists UV rays, freeze-thaw cycles, humidity, heat, and major temperature fluctuations without warping or cracking.

• Durable Finish
The surface remains clean and uniform season after season. The material does not fade and requires little maintenance: a simple cleaning with mild soap is enough to maintain its original appearance.

Types of installation offered

• Standard Installation
The plaque is equipped with three 1.75” threaded studs mounted on the back, ensuring a solid installation on most surfaces. The included kit contains a multi-purpose drill bit, a mini marker, a stick-on level, silicone, and a positioning template to align the plaque with precision.

Suitable for most surfaces: vinyl, wood, stone, brick, and more. For masonry or stone, the included drill bit may not be suitable; a hammer drill is recommended.

• Adhesive Installation*

For a no-drill installation, you can use an extreme-strength 3M adhesive strip. The included roll of adhesive allows you to adjust the thickness based on your surface, making it especially practical for aluminum, hard-to-drill stone, acrylic, or any other surface that should not be drilled.

No positioning template is required for this type of installation.

Available characters

• Available Numbers and Letters
The address plaque can be customized with numbers from 0 to 9, letters from A to F, as well as the hyphen symbol (-).

Measures

• Plaque Dimensions
Each plaque measures 10” high and is available in 11”, 15.5”, and 23” lengths. The number of characters determines the minimum required length: 11” fits 1 or 2 digits, 15.5” fits 3 digits, and 23” fits 4 or 5 digits.

You may choose a longer plaque for aesthetic reasons, but never a shorter one, as the characters could not be installed properly. This model is available in horizontal installation only.

• Number Dimensions
The numbers measure approximately 6” high. Their size may vary slightly depending on the typography in order to preserve the balance of the design.

• Product Thickness
The plaque and numbers are 1/4” thick (6 mm), ensuring a solid and uniform look.

• Installation Depth
The threaded studs provide an actual 1.75” anchor depth into the surface. The plaque remains slightly raised from the wall thanks to the rear mounting hardware, creating a clean and refined effect.

Important Notes

Due to its custom nature, Modern address plates are not eligible for return.

The large-format Modern is available in three lengths: 11”, 15.5”, and 23”. You can choose the number colour in white or brushed aluminum, depending on the look you want.

For homes that require a more compact address plaque, the Modern is also available in a smaller format.

Does the large-format Modern work with my type of siding?

Yes, this model can be installed on most surfaces: vinyl, wood, aluminum, fiber cement, brick, and stone.

Depending on your surface, you can choose either standard installation with studs or adhesive installation.

In most cases, standard installation works very well.

I have an old address, holes, or a discoloured area to cover. Is this model suitable?

Yes, the large-format Modern is ideal for covering an outdated plaque, hiding holes, or evening out an area altered by a previous address.

Its larger format and black plaque provide a clean, modern cover.

To maximize coverage, we will help you choose the best-suited length.

My siding is slightly uneven. What are my options?

If your siding has a slight unevenness, it is easy to install the plaque straight thanks to the length of the studs: some studs will go deeper than others to naturally compensate for the surface.

For adhesive installation, the roll of double-sided adhesive also allows you to adjust the thickness by stacking multiple layers.

If your siding is very uneven, such as fieldstone, we recommend choosing individual numbers for a better result.

Installation is simple on almost any surface.

Can the large-format Modern be installed vertically?

The large-format Modern is not available in a vertical version, as its 6” numbers would make the plaque too long.

For a vertically installed address, we recommend choosing the regular Modern, which is designed for this purpose.

The oversized address plaque is offered in horizontal format only to maintain its aesthetic balance and visual proportions.

Choosing the right length
Each length has a maximum number capacity: 11” for 1 or 2 digits, 15.5” for 3 digits, and 23” for 4 or 5 digits.
You can also choose a longer plaque for aesthetic reasons or to cover an existing address. For example, you can use a 23” plaque for only 2 digits; they will be centered as shown in the visual.
Choose the ideal length based on your façade and the available space.
Choosing the Right Modern Plaque
The regular Modern is ideal for façades close to the street, tighter spaces, or vertical installation.
The large-format Modern is preferred for better visibility from a distance, covering an old address, or creating a stronger visual impact on a larger façade.
