• Integrated Threaded Rods
Three 1.5" threaded rods are attached to the back of the plate, allowing for a secure installation with no visible screws. This system ensures a straight, stable mount on most exterior surfaces. The actual anchoring depth is 1.5", and the plate sits slightly off the wall thanks to the rear hardware.

• Plate and Number Thickness
The plate is made from 1/4" (6 mm) thick ACP. The numbers measure 4.25" high and 1/8" thick. Material varies by color: the white option is made from acrylic, while the brushed aluminum finish is made from ACP. Both options offer a clean, durable finish.

• Fully Assembled
The Modern arrives fully assembled, with the numbers positioned, bonded, and aligned by our team. Unlike hardware-store plates, everything is ready to install. Since this is a custom-made product, it is final sale.

Durable and weather-resistant material

• Architectural-Grade ACP
The plate is made from architectural-grade ACP (aluminum composite panel), composed of two aluminum sheets bonded to a polyethylene core. This rigid, lightweight, rust-resistant material is perfectly suited for outdoor environments. It maintains its stability over time and will not warp.

• Weather Resistance
ACP holds its shape despite exposure to the elements. It naturally resists UV rays, freeze-thaw cycles, moisture, heat, and temperature changes without cracking or deforming.

• Durable Finish
Brushed aluminum numbers are made from the same ACP material, while white numbers are made from high-quality acrylic. Both options provide a clean, uniform surface designed to withstand the seasons without fading. Simple cleaning with mild soap is enough to preserve their appearance.

Types of installation offered

• Standard Installation
The plaque is equipped with three 1.75” threaded studs mounted on the back, ensuring a secure installation with no visible screws. The included kit comes with a multi-purpose drill bit, a mini marker, a stick-on level, a small tube of silicone, and a positioning template for precise alignment. This method is suitable for most solid surfaces such as vinyl, wood, brick, fiber cement, or stone.

• Adhesive Installation
For a no-drill option, the plaque can be mounted using a roll of industrial double-sided adhesive. Multiple layers can be applied to adjust thickness and compensate for slight surface irregularities. This option is ideal for surfaces where drilling is not recommended, such as aluminum or steel. No template is required for this type of installation.

• Available Numbers and Letters
The Modern can be customized with numbers from 0 to 9, letters from A to F, as well as a hyphen (e.g., 101-1).

Measures

• Plaque Dimensions
The plaque measures 6.5” high and is available in 9”, 11.5”, 15”, and 19” lengths. Each length has a maximum character capacity: 9” fits 1 or 2 digits, 11.5” fits 3 digits, 15” fits 4 digits, and 19” fits 5 digits. You may choose a longer plaque for aesthetic reasons, but never a shorter one than your number of characters requires.

• Number Dimensions
The numbers measure approximately 4.25” high and 1/8” thick, whether in white acrylic or brushed aluminum ACP. Slight variations between characters are normal in order to respect the typography and maintain a balanced visual appearance.

• Product Thickness
The plaque is 1/4” thick (6 mm). The numbers are applied directly to the plaque for a clean, uniform finish.

• Installation Depth
The threaded studs provide an actual 1.75” anchor depth into the surface, allowing for a stable and discreet installation.

Due to its custom nature, Modern plates are not eligible for return.

FAQ

My Address Number includes a letter. Is it compatible?

Yes, the Moderne can absolutely include a letter. We offer characters from A to F as well as a hyphen, in addition to numbers from 0 to 9. You can preview your address with a letter directly in our visualizer.

This model allows numbers, letters, and hyphens to be clearly displayed on the same plaque.

My siding is uneven. Can I install a Modern plaque?

Yes, if your surface has a slight unevenness, such as CanExel or Ledgestone-style stone.

With standard installation, the threaded studs allow you to adjust the depth while drilling. With adhesive installation, the double-sided adhesive can also help compensate for small variations.

For very irregular siding, such as fieldstone, individual numbers are often better suited, since the length of each stud can be adjusted individually.

The Modern installs easily on most exterior siding surfaces.

How far away is the Modern plaque visible?

The 4.25” numbers offer good readability from up to approximately 42 feet away, which is about the length of a two- to three-car driveway.

This format is ideal for homes located close to or at a medium distance from the street.

Is it possible to get a stainless steel plaque with black numbers?

We do not offer stainless steel plaques or black numbers. The Modern is available only with a black plaque and white or brushed aluminum numbers.

These colours were chosen for their contrast and readability, as the eye picks up lighter tones more easily.

A practical guide to choosing the right address

Choose the right length
Each length has a maximum number of characters depending on the orientation selected.
For horizontal installation: 9” fits up to 2 digits, 11.5” fits up to 3, 15” fits up to 4, and 19” fits up to 5.
For vertical installation: 9” fits 1 digit, 11.5” fits 2, 15” fits 3, and 19” fits 4. There is no 5-digit vertical plaque.
You may choose a longer plaque for aesthetic reasons, but never a shorter one than your address requires. For a larger format, also see the large-format Modern.

Choose the orientation: horizontal or vertical
The Modern can be installed horizontally or vertically, depending on the available space and the style of your façade.
The vertical orientation works well for narrow spaces such as posts, smaller wall sections, or tight entryways, and it is very on-trend. The horizontal orientation is ideal above a door, near a light fixture, or on a wider façade.
The choice mainly depends on the installation location and the look you want to achieve.
